When Mahindra entered the Indian SUV market with the XUV700 in 2021, it quickly gained massive popularity. Now, the company is preparing to launch the facelift version of this model, which, according to several reports, could be introduced in early 2026.

This facelift will bring updates to the exterior, interior, and features, while major changes to the powertrain are not expected.

Powertrain and Road Presence

The Mahindra XUV700 already has a commanding road presence, and its spacious cabin is available in five-, six-, and seven-seater configurations.
The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engines offer ample power, while features like Level 2 ADAS enhance the overall driving confidence and comfort.

What’s New in the Facelift?

Launch Timeline

As per media reports, the XUV700 facelift is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026, most likely by January 2026.
However, Mahindra has not made any official announcement yet, so the timeline may change.

Why the XUV700 Facelift is Specia

The forthcoming Mahindra XUV700 Facelift is set to introduce several high-end enhancements while maintaining its trusted performance. It will boast a cutting-edge triple-screen layout — a first in its class — paired with advanced Level 2+ ADAS technology featuring self-parking assistance. Inside, the SUV receives a substantial upgrade with soft-touch surfaces and a refined, premium dashboard. Mahindra’s robust 2.2L diesel engine and 4WD system will continue to provide impressive power and capability. On the exterior, a redesigned grille and connected LED light bar lend a striking, contemporary presence. As a facelift, significant mechanical revisions are unlikely. Specifications may differ regionally.

New triple-screen setup — first in its segment

Level 2+ ADAS with features like self-parking

Premium interior quality with a new soft-touch dashboard

Powerful 2.2L diesel engine and Mahindra’s 4WD technology

New grille and connected LED light bar for a modern, bold look

Note: Since this is a facelift and not a completely new model, major mechanical changes are unlikely. Specifications and taxes may vary by state.
